FAQ’s
Do you
service Commercial accounts as well as Residential accounts?
Yes! If your business or community has public areas that have poop we can
Scoop those areas clean with our Poop & Scoop service. Our commercial
clients include vets, homeowners associations, businesses, private &
public schools etc. Please contact us to setup your Commercial pet waste
removal.
How often
does your company service our yard?
Most of our customers prefer once a week service. We also offer twice a
week, and more we try to accommodate whatever scooping you need.
Do we work
through the winter?
Yes. Your dog still does his BUSINESS so we do ours.
What happens
when it rains or snows?
We work in most weather, but snow or very cold weather can stop us. If
there is more than about half an inch of snow, we will postpone that day's
service until the next day or two, when the snow melts away. If snow stays
on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow to cover it,
we will do our regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation.
Our
company will usually work in the rain. A very heavy rainfall may stop us,
though. We will most often be able to make up the work later in the week.
(Especially in the summer months we guarantee that the weather will not
affect your weekly service)
When
a holiday falls on a regular service day, we use a holiday schedule that
will get your yard done either the day before or after but there will not
be a missed appointment. Service returns to the regular day the following
week.
Should I
unlock my gate?
Yes. Since technicians are not to climb or jump over fences, please have
your gate unlocked on your scheduled scooping service day. You may provide
us with a key to the lock or tell us the combination if that is more
convenient for you. If a gate
is locked when we arrive and we cannot perform the service, a charge is
still required we will be out the next scheduled scooping day and
have to clean double the amount of Poop.
Can you work
with our dog in the yard?
We at Poop & Scoop love all of our dogs so in most cases, yes. We get
along well with dogs; however, there are some cases when a dog will not
let our worker into the yard to perform our services. If you know that
your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog
will not allow us to clean the yard, then we will ask that you restrain or
confine the dog. We don't want to take any unnecessary risks with your dog
or our employees.
How do I pay you and can I pay with a credit card?
We accept all major credit cards. We will charge your card each month. One
less bill that you have to mail. You will receive an invoice at the end of
each month for the next month's Poop & Scoop service. Payment is due
on the 1st of the month for that month.
Are there any
contracts I have to sign?
Yes & No. Yes… if you
would like to take advantage of our 1 year contract that gets you Free
Pickups. No…
we can start and stop your service over the phone. We do not
require contracts, there is no minimum service period, and there is no
advance notice required to cancel service. Try out or service and
see a clean and safe yard for a few months and we promise you that you
will be a Poop & Scoop customer for life.
Is there an
extra fee for the first time?
There is an extra fee for the first time service due to accumulated waste
over time. If the yard has
been cleaned within the last 2 weeks then we can waive the initial cleanup
fee. Waiving the fee will be determined when we come to do the 1st
cleanup.
Is it
possible to get a one-time only service?
YES. We do One-time-only services. We
also arrange a Summer time only Poop & Scoop service.
THANK YOU FOR
LETTING US TAKE CARE OF YOUR DOG'S "BUSINESS"!
